Students Non-Profit Organizations Corporate Sponsors

EPICS (Engineering Projects In Community Service) started at Penn State in Spring 2001. Through EPICS, the specific problem (and need for a solution) is identified by local non-profit organizations. Based on the problem, an EPICS team designs, builds, and delivers a working solution to the non-profit group. There are little or no monetary costs to the non-profit group - only a time commitment to consult with the EPICS Engineering Team (students plus faculty member). Currently, material costs are covered by a grant from Purdue University's EPICS program
