  EE 597E is an advanced graduate course aiming to cover state of the art wireless communication theory research. The material will be mostly from Wireless Communications by A. Goldsmith, and Multiuser Detection by S. Verdu, with supplements from Fundamentals of Wireless Communication by D. Tse and P.Viswanath. Also, we will use recent papers and pre-prints.

  All registered students are assumed to have access to ANGEL. Most material related to the course such as course notes, homework solutions etc. will be at the ANGEL page accessible only to registered students.

  A take home exam will be given at the end of the semester.
 

  There will be regular assignments. Most of these are going to be "individual" assignments.

  Assignments will be posted on ANGEL.

  Your assignment must be submitted in class the day it is due. Solutions will be posted at the ANGEL after class.

  Assignment 1 is due Feb 2, 2006.

  Assignment 2 is due Feb 14, 2006.

  Assignment 3&4 are due March 16, 2006.

   Assignment 5 is due on April 11, 2006.
